[[Recap. Once again...]]

I do apologize to all you screen suckers out there, for the lack of posts recently. Haven't really found the time to post something interesting. Until people started nagging at me to post on the stuff that happened recently. Even now its a bit tough to recall everything that has happened over the past week. But I'll try...

First of all, many of you have been wanting a review of Tuesday's movie, so here it is.
Night at Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian : Storyline was somewhat predictable, built upon the success of the first movie. It featured the original cast, Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, etc. , with plenty more addons, who I can't remember their names.. Anyway, the story goes that the entire museum at the MNH ( museum of natural history ) got moved to the Smithsonian, so he goes there to try and get them back, but runs into trouble in the museum. Then the rest of the movie is just Ben Stiller trying to get himself out of trouble, with the help of chracters such as Amelia Earhart and Abraham Lincoln. All goes well in the end and the MNH is returned to its original location, with all its exhibits in place. There were quite a few gags used in the movie, of which some w
ere quite funny. Owen Wilson's character got even lamer than before, with more stupid cowboy junk. Other than that, its an ok movie...but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're going with your family.

Wednesday: JCC meeting, japanese culture club. Met JQ, Billu, Ming En, Rat, Ming Woon and the new Darren. Had a brief meeting, like half an hour, then it was over. Spent the rest of the afternoon playing JQ's NERF gun, getting lots of wierd stares around campus. Then met chris at the KTV room in Moberly, only to get roped in by his friends. Highlight of my day.. That's pretty much it for Wednesday.

Thursday: Nothing, really. So I'm not gonna bother.

Firday: Went for golf training with sean and JQ. The timing was really, really poor, cos it was supposed to start at 5pm, but we only arrived at Keppel club at 6.30. So there was only half an hour left, but we still played and somewhat taught the scratch golfers how to play. Actually JQ was the only one teaching, and I was slacking.. There were some really pro people there, even more pro than JQ. Like so pro they hit a golf ball of the mat with a driver, no tee, and it flew straight like a Tomahawk missile, before falling 200+ metres away. Totally crazy, like logic defying crazy. Went home and that was Friday.

Now i have 3 simultaneous projects at the moment, so I'm pretty busy..please bear with the lack of posts. I'll try to blog whenever I'm free.

Wilson. eeeeewwwwww....thanks to darren ong for this pic. Way to relive our stupid secondary school days.

[[Upchuck, anyone?]]

Went kayaking yesterday, not as much fun as the week before cos I got sea-sick. And quite sick of the sea as well. I really didn't expect it because I had kayaked many times before, but this time the motion of rocking about really got to me. Wierd but its true.. guess I haven't got my sea legs on yet. haha. In fact I casn still feel the bobbing motion in my head. Like one of those ferry rides from Singapore to Bintan, and your stomach doesn't feel entirely well after getting off the ship.

I got to the marina really really early, cos my dad had to go to work at 830 and dropped me there first. I was looking like the emo kid, sitting in one corner, staring at his handphone. Thank god for their Wi-fi service, if not I would have died of bordem, or at least fallen asleep. Caught up on some episodes of Blackadder Goes Forth, before more people started arriving. Must've been a wierd sight for them, seeing some guy sitting by himself laughing at his phone. haha.

After the lesson I went to have lunch at Buona Vista with my dad. Also surprised JQ when I called him outside his house. Then he took his Vulcan and shot squishy darts at me..which isn't the slightest bit scary, for the fact that you can actually hit them away. lol. An
d I thought NERF was really dangerous.

I took some photos on my phone before my dad picked me up, I know that they're not as good as Gnin's, but hey, mine's only a phone camera. What can you expect?

One of the houses that were newly built along Pasir Panjang road, or West Coast H'way

A Container crane, its really really really big, the picture just doesn't do justice to it.

The road that I sat next to..its quite deserted, cos there's nothing interesting there.

The same road, from curb view. One of my attempted arty shots that should inly be done with SLR's

The title has nothing to do with what I'm going to type, but then again what I'm going to type has nothing to do with what's on my mind, so.....yea, go figure.

[[CCAs starting soon]]

Got to school early today, as in really really early. Might as well blog now before POA starts.

Anyway, I got a couple of e mails about the various CCAs I'm joining. And come to think of it, I have a gut feeling that I can't juggle the CCAs and homework at the same time, so i might just do 2 CCAs instead of 3. Maybe Golf and JCC, if I can't find the time to attend Paintball. Yes, this is quite a shocker, but I find that it is not as important. But I haven't decided yet, so I might still stick to 3 CCAs.

Yea....totally ran out of stuff to say so I'm going to stop here.

[[It's like swallowing sand paper.]]

Reason being that I have a sore throat. Yup. Sore throat. It just came out of no where and now I'm sitting at home when I could be enjoying the free air-con and elcetricity that SP so willingly provides. It's not that i don't like to be at home, its just that I feel that I could be doing more productive stuff, like talking to my friends instead of webcamming to them.

Since I have so much time at home, I decided to visit Gab's blog. The last paragraph was quite interesting, and thinking about it, we've all come a long way since meeting up and hanging out those 2 or 3 years ago. From the times of short pants and lame/sick jokes, we've grown a little older, and a little wiser. Well, most of us anyway. But more importantly, we've all been there for each other when called upon, and I guess that's what true friends do. Even if we had stupid names like 'boy wonder', 'mini wang', 'dong', 'beaver', 'tofu', 'gay boy', its still awesome to see that deep inside people never change.

So on that note, I wish that all my friends never change, and that we stay friends for many more years to come.

[[Kayaking. Or Canoeing.]]

Went Kayaking yesterday. Didn't blog about it cos my forearms were totally shagged. Ex- marists insert sick joke here. Anyway, i woke up at 7, on a Saturday morning. Headed over to Clementi, which is all the way across Singapore and met Jing Han there. The instructors were already there, so all we did was laze around until they felt that enough people were there to head off to the Poly Marina. Yes, SP has its own marina.

Got there after a bus trip and a long walk. Wasn't as big as I expected, but its still better than borrowing someone else's marina. There were
already a few people who were qualified, but because of the scratch kayakers, we had to take the doubles. Its not that they're no fun, its just that they're not as agile as the singles and its sometimes hard to co-ordinate with the other person. So I'm hoping next week will be the singles. We paddled around for about 2 hours, but it was enough to get me burned. insert another sick joke.

Then we went to meet my dad at jurong point 2 for lunch and headed home.

Oh yeah, since the Poly marina was next to SYC, singapore yacht club, I saw this on my way out.

Pretty sweet huh? A real Aston Martin DB9.

[[Formal Attire please.]]

Formal attire for the presentation that is.. We had to do a SWOT analysis today, and present it to the class and Victor nelson joe. SWOT analysis means strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, for all you non-business people. Anyway, we had to wear formal or semi-formal attire for our presentation. So most of us turned up today in business shirts and pants for guys, and skirts and blouse for girls.

Quite fun because it gave us a small slice of what our future will hold. Like all the presentations and meetings and whatnot. My group's presentation went well, sort of. We had some minor technical issues at the start, and had to transfer the slides to the other com. Turns out the transferred slides were the old ones and had alot of wierd points. But we made do with what we had and did a pretty good job. Yup. Over exaggeration there.

I got a 19.5 out of 25, and yes, that is good. haha. Better go pack my bag for kayaking tomorrow, so yea....bye.

[[Happy Birthday Wils and Beaver.]]

Really. Happy birthday, and please do make use of our eccentric gifts. I can only wonder what I'll get when its my turn. Haha. Pics are on Gnin's blog cos I'm not going to pollute my blog with gay crap.

Anyway, today was pretty uneventful. As in really, really boring. Had POA in the morning, then lunch, then ITAB. Maybe the most exciting ( note that I'm being really generous on the compliments ) thing was afer class at foodcourt 3. And that only involved eating the waffle hot dog and talking with my friends. Bumped into JQ and Bilu, and the first thing they said was " Eh, Gay-Rammer!" and the others were all dumbfounded. Haha. But I guess that's normal cos they weren't from Maris Stella and won't know the jokes that we tell. Which are all R-rated by the way..

Headed home and played Rfactor with Gnin and JQ, and I was all excited about the TV styles addon I finally got :). ( I didn't write =D for multiple reasons that can get my tagboard gay-ed up again..). Its really fun because now I have to juggle 2 opponents instead of one, so its like adding on another level of difficulty to my driving. And with strategies coupled with intense over-taking, wow.

Marketing presentation coming up on Friday, so I guess I'd better do the final touch-up on the slides. Ciao!

Random thing for this post: Twits. If you are one, I swear to god I will punch you.

[[Super cars I've seen.]]

Went to Ngee ann cuty today to but some bermudas. Along the way I saw an audi R8, and it got me thinking. I've seen some pretty awesome cars in my life, why not list them all down and maybe use that as a life goal? It's not like their un-attainable, if those rich asses can buy them, why can't I?

So here goes, my list of Super cars I've seen and want to own.

1. Audi R8. It's so good, even Top Gear agrees with me.

2. Ferrari 599. Fastest street legal car Ferrari has ever produced.

3. Porsche 911 turbo. Fast beetle, or cool supercar, you decide.

4. Aston Martin DB9. Perfect match or style and performance.

5. Ferrari F430. For all you boisterous, obnoxious rich kids. haha.

6. Lamborghini Gallardo. You'll look 10 years older after a ride in one of these.

7. Maserati Quattroporte. James Bond anyone?

[[Unleashing our inner child.]]

Today was what someone would call a "joke" day, of sorts. Started off with a truckload of lame jokes during our 3 hour break.

Included some classics like the two buns and the 'feeling' joke, and other great hits such as the 'long and sticky' riddle. Also some new singles like Mingwei's 'life story' about marrying the women who are his sisters and why Alex doesn't bathe ( remixed ).

Yup. We blissfully wasted an hour and a half, before I went to the CCA showcase again to sign up for JCC, with Julian and the rest. Then I met up with JQ, and headed over to fodcourt 5 to meet Gnin and Ryan and Bilu and Tofu for lunch. Although I already ate. We went back to foodcourt 6, which was a really wasted walk for Tofu, cos he had just came from T21. Lol. Helped JQ refine his setup for Rfactor, and then I had to go for my lecture.

Lessons all the way until 6, so there's nothing much to say there.

After class, Dawn's dad wanted to pick her from T11A, and apparently Justin had agreed to lead us all there. And yes, all mayhem broke loose about Dawn and Justin getting together and whatnot. Childish, yes-siree!
And it didn't just stop there. On the way home, Julian went to call Dawn posing as Justin, and it was wierd yet hilarious.

Julian: Hello, Dawn, justin here.
Dawn: ( dunno what she said )
Julian: Eh I love you. Want to go out tomorrow?
Dawn: ( must've been stunned, said julian was mingwei )
Julian: No, its really Justin, I love you. Want to go out tomorrow?
Dawn: ( must've said that she was going out with xiu e )
Julian: Why? Is it because you don't love me?
Dawn: I don't know....
Julian: Please go out with me leh...pls,pls, pls, pls, pls..
Dawn: ( must've said ok )
Julian: So I see you tomorrow...
[ End ]

Justin's reputation was totally destroyed. But what the hell, Dawn actually said I don't know??
Wierd.....

[[Mega Recap Part 3. Final one!]]

Actually this post is going to be pretty short, primarily because I just went back to Maris Stella to collect my yearbook.

The following takes place from 1500hrs to 1700hrs.

I met JQ after my Itab class at the sports hall behind foodcourt 5, to go sign up for Golf CCA. Jing Han was with me, and he said that nothing interests him, out of the 100+ CCAs. So I told him to go look for something fun, or something that seems interesting, and go sign up, cos having a CCA does help your overall GPA. And for his sake I hope he found something. Signed up for Golf and we headed over to moberly, where the rest were.

1530hrs.

Met up with Dong, Tofu, Yang, Bilu and Ryan ( still haven't found a nickname for him yet..). Left school and headed toward Serangoon.

1630hrs.

Arrived at Maris Stella gate, and had to take our temperature, even though there was nobody there. Then we went to the General office to collect our yearbooks. Met midget there, but he's not really short anymore, but he's till a midget to us, and went to have dinner, or in my case, afternoon tea.

The construction outside the primary school is finally over, actually looks good now.

I'm really, really tired from doing 3 posts, so if you want the rest of today's shit, go to Yang's blog.

[[Mega Recap part 2]]

Part 2, or dua, or dos, or deux, or twee, or ni. See, there's plenty more languages to replace chinese.

Anywho, today class ended at 1 and we wanted to have a class outing, which ended in only 7 of us watching a movie together. lol. Some of them went to Kbox, which Jac says the food is good, and some were too tired, so they went home. Jing Han wanted to rush home and do homework. lol.

So there was Julian, Mingwei, Alex, Elaine, Wang quan, Sean and myself. We went to watch Taken, which I will review later. Or maybe I'll do it now.

Taken: Liam neeson is the main star in this action packed thriller. The action revolves around the storyline of Brian Mills' ( neeson ), daughter travelling to France for a U2 concert tour. But along the way, she gets kidnapped by some Albanians and put to work as a prostitue. Brian comes to know of his daughters' horrible fate, and sets off to Paris to rescue her. The plot is simple, and the show relies heavily on its action sequences to attract an audience. Furthermore, the extremely high body count would definitely satisfy any sadists' fantasy. So if you're planning on skipping some chick flick and going for some action, this film would be very, very good for you.

Random Thing for this post: Grease Lightnin'. Ain't no doubt about it.

[[Mega Recap Part 1]]

Going back to Monday, nothing interesting happened, the only highlight would be the bowling game game which we had, again. I wasn't having a good game, in fact I could say that I totally sucked, and yes, there were the fair share of pro and not so pro bowlers. Totally dejavu typing that out.

Anyway here are some of the photos i took..

We really, really sucked.

Adam bowling. He's the only one who actually averages above 100 points.

But not this round! LOL.

And after bowling was Stats lecture with Ken Kwan. And he had a ton of gay lingo to spew out.
Such as: Taming, Spanking, and a ton of other wierd stuff. But I guess somehow that's how he keeps the class awake. lol.

Random Thing for this post: Genka. wierd name if there ever was one.

[[Recap.]]

Ok so here's the recap I promised.

Starting on Tuesday, the day I had bowling with my classmates at SPGG ( guild house ). I was pretty surprised that the bowling alley was so big. Like 10 lanes. I was expecting only 5. Anyway, we spent like 3 hours bowling there, cos afterwards there was a POA make-up lecture. And we were not really looking forward to it, so we tried to get as tired as possible before the lecture. haha. Talk about not learning anything. My class had some really pro bowlers, and some "pro" bowlers. I'm not naming names, but I was pretty surprised when I saw some of their scores. There was no shortage of floor banging noises, and some very slow balls..( god
that just didn't come out right ). By the time lecture started, most of us were practically dosing off, mission accomplshed. haha. The rest then left for dinner, but I went home, along with Adam and Dawn. ( yes deyun, from now on i'll call u adam )
Just look at how empty the lecture hall is. Might as well have not had the lecture at all..

And since I already talked about Wednesday, I'll go on to Thursday. Funny thing happened on thursday morning. The week before we were advised by Ms Diana, our EC teacher, that there would be a make up lesson, but never got a message saying when or where it would be held. So, taking our "initiative", we all went to school at 8 am, and went looking around for her class. We finally found her, or should I say stumbled upon, and found her in the japanese culture club room. Which is quite cool, cos it had Tatami mats on the floor, and a very authentic Japanese style decor all over. Should have taken some photos, damn. The rest of the day was pretty boring, just lectures and more lectures. Seems that the school of business students have a ton more lectures than the other schools, like engineering. Highlight of the day was the cosplay event, I'm not gonna go into the details. If you want to know more on how that tunred out, just go to Gnin's blog, in the links.

Friday was spent at home, all flacid and slacking, Skyping the whole day, played Rfactor, and L4D. Did the rest of the oustanding homework, and Yes, I am done with everything. Even the ITAB, and the econs. I might be a chiongster on homework, but i couldn't really give a shit what people say about finishing homework early, there's no harm in it, so what the hell, just do it, to quote Nike.

Random thing for today : Thugz Mansion. Really, What the hell.

[[There'll be more posts soon.]]

I do apologise for the lack of posts this few days. Hadn't really found the time to actually sit down and gather my thoughts for a proper typing session.

I know I owe it to you guys the constant wierdness of events that have been happening, but sometimes its just a colossal load of shit to type out. And without pics its even tougher, cos I keep forgetting what I want to say.

Anyway, when I find the time, maybe tomorrow or something, I'll try as much as possible to recap everything that has happened this week. Let the boisterous, obnoxious, self-absorbed comments roll!!!

Random thing for today: Gel Douche. Go think about it.
